I cannot believe how fast the time has gone! Lucanne is 10 months old already!
In the months that have passed the whole family suffered from 2 colds - the second of which was particularly terrible. Lucanne had to be propped up in bed so she could breathe. And it seemed to want to last forever!
Lucanne started army crawling in late February. She is now lightning fast and b-lines it to the dogs' water bowl in the back every time I turn my back on her! Oh, and now she is trying to get herself into a standing position without help so I suspect it won't be long before she is walking.
In March, Lucanne got to spend a weekend with Noni and Grampa Robbie and made friends with Rusty. She loved his soft fur, but was particularly enamored by his "bling".
Recently Lucanne has been developing her musical skills. At first it was finding a beat to dance to, then finding rhythm with Taiko drumming. Soon she will finish her First Concerto.
Today, I discovered that the tooth that had been threatening since November has finally decided to break through. It was a tough road these last few weeks with the swelling and pain in the...gums, but now that the first one had broken through I suspect that the road will get easier for her. At least she can eat her beloved apples again!

We are preparing for our first Easter with Lucanne, while she won't be terribly interested in hunting for Easter Eggs, I still look forward to this milestone. Before I know it she will be wearing her first birthday dress and eating cake!
